Aircraft Fuelling Services

aircraft fuelling

Aircraft fueling is a critical operation that demands strict safety controls, precise coordination, and on-time execution. At AAES, we deliver Jet A-1, Avgas, and SAF (Sustainable Aviation Fuel) coordination with a compliance-first approach—aligning suppliers, handlers, and documentation to reduce delays and protect turnaround performance. Our support spans a wide range of aircraft, from piston and turboprop Avgas operations to business jets and commercial airliners on Jet A-1, and SAF uplift coordination where available.

Your journey is our priority. We coordinate fueling with operational precision—supporting fuel availability checks (destination/alternate), uplift scheduling, uplift confirmation, and release/documentation alignment to improve certainty before wheels-up. Whether it’s a scheduled rotation or a short-notice change, AAES helps you maintain control of fuel planning and uplift reliability for flights across Africa, so crews can depart with confidence.

Trust AAES for 24/7 Jet A-1, Avgas, and SAF uplift coordination for airlines and private jet operators, where safety and efficiency guide every movement. We support fuel coordination at 3,000+ airport locations worldwide, giving operators a single ops desk to manage supply, timing, and uplift execution.

Jet A-1 fuel

Jet A-1 fuel is a type of aviation fuel that is similar to Jet A, but with a lower freeze point. Jet A-1 is a specialized kerosene-based fuel engineered for gas-turbine engine aircraft. It complies with strict international standards and maintains a freeze point of -47°C or lower.

It works with most jet aircraft, both civilian and military. It is also compatible with helicopter turbine engines, turboprops, and diesel piston engines. AAES offers high-quality Jet A-1 fuel for your aviation needs. Our fuel meets international standards and ensures safe, efficient flight operations.

AVGAS

Avgas, or aviation gasoline, is a special fuel for piston-engine aircraft. This includes small planes for general flying, some military aircraft, and old models. Examples are the Cessna 172, Piper Cherokee, and de Havilland Tiger Moth. It has a high octane rating (typically 100 or 130) and is composed of a mixture of hydrocarbons. Avgas is mainly used in North America and Europe. It is less common in Asia and Africa, where Jet A-1 is more popular. Its high octane rating helps piston engines run well and reliably. However, it is not good for jet turbine engines. Due to its flammable nature, avgas is subject to stringent handling and safety regulations.

Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF)

Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) is at the forefront of the aviation industry’s commitment to reducing its environmental impact. AAES takes pride in being a pioneer offering reliable services to airlines looking to lower their carbon footprint. With SAF, you can help create a more sustainable future for aviation. You also show your commitment to being environmentally responsible.
